on ALL participants, whether or not they attend all events or stay at
Saguaro Ranch.

Registration after November 1, 2010. If you register after
November 1, 2010 or on site at the Round Up, your fee will be $75.00.
For those of you living locally and commuting, or bunking at a friend's

Ranch at the Comfort Inn in Foundatin Hills), we recommend that you
join the group for all meals at the Ranch. Individualizing
your meal plan is an option of course.

if
you must cancel between October 15 and November 1, 2010. If
you

ACCOMODATIONS FOR AUDUBON ROUND UP
Our Venue
Saguaro Lake Ranch! AND ALL YOUR MEALS ARE
INCLUDED IN YOUR OVERNIGHT COSTS!
Costs will be: $140 per person, per day plus tax, single occupancy (8
units or cabins); $130.00 pp per day plus tax, double occupancy (20
units or cabins); $120 pp per day plus tax, triple occupancy (2 units);

There is a
three-day
minimum stay for the event for these special event rates.
The reason for
the minimum stay is that Arizona Audubon Council has reserved the
entire ranch for the Round Up. You are invited to arrive on
Thursday, November 11th, stay the nights of Nov. 11, 12 and 13 and
leave on Sunday November 14th.
FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!
MAKE YOUR PLANS WITH SPOUSE OR ROOMATES AND CALL EARLY.
You must call
Saguaro Lake Ranch to make reservations at: 480-984-2194 and
mention “Audubon”.
“Summer hours at the Ranch (through September) are usually 8 AM - 2 PM.
You may be greeted by the answering machine and asked to leave a
message for a call back.”
Remember,
call the Ranch at 480-984-2194, mention
“Audubon” and be prepared to hold your space with a
major credit card. Information on
Saguaro Lake Ranch
(kayaking or
tubing the Salt River and horseback riding) can be found at
(
www.saguarolakeranch.com)
First come first served in shared cabins, almost all with full bath
facilities.
Please reserve your space at the Ranch by
November 1, 2010.
Your credit card will hold your space and will not be charged until you
arrive on November 11th; however, as a courtesy to the event
organizers, we need to know attendee numbers by this date.
Since
cabins are shared, please let us know on your Round Up Registration
Form if you have a preference for a roommate or roommates. (Of course
you may register at the Ranch with your roomates; that makes it
easier!) While we cannot
guarantee your preference will be accommodated, we will do our
very
best to do so.
Other
accommodations:
Once Saguaro Lake Ranch is full, the Ranch will make referrals to the
Comfort Inn on Shea Boulevard in Fountain Hills. This motel
is 16
(easy) miles from the Round Up location; for those of you flying to the
event and without a car,
Arizona Audubon Council will arrange transport daily between the
Comfort Inn and the Round Up location. You may reserve a
space at
this location directly, but you will not receive the referral
rates. We would rather have you stay at the event location
anyway!
Camping and
Recreational Vehicles:
Usery Mountain Regional Park, Phoenix, Arizona 85120 provides the
closest camping and RV overnight accommodations. It is 10
(easy)
miles from the Ranch just north of Mesa, AZ. Fees range up to
$25.00 per night; all 73 camping and RV sites are first come, first
served.
