We had
ideal weather for our birding trip to Stoneman Lake, cool temps and a
sunny day. the lake had water in it this time and the coots with
chicks, eared grebes and ruddy ducks were all taking advantage of it.
The Prairie Falcon was on his ledge calling to us, and Red-faced
Warblers were in the trees.
At Bill Back Pond we saw a Purple Martin and a Spotted Sandpiper. All
in all, a great day.
